      I remember when Taco Bell first dropped the chalupa, my mom made me go up there and order 2 shells (just the shells) so she could make Chitlin’ Chalupas with potato salad on top.

      I’ve always wondered about this. My family is southern black, born and bred and I have never even seen this at family functions. Anytime I asked about this or chicken feet, my grandma said we don’t eat that stuff. 🤣🤣

      My mom grew up eating them. She believes the main problem is most of the US doesn’t know how to cook them right.

      That being said, I probably still don’t see myself trying it on a burger.
